Alouette II – Rhodesian Air Force – War Thunder Skin

I present to you a skin I was very much looking forward to create, a Rhodesian Air Force Alouette II. Now playable in 4K DDS and TGA with damage models!

The Aircraft
In total 6 Alouette II were delivered to the Rhodesian Air Force. These were on loan from the SAAF (South African Air Force) from 1974 to 1980. Several of them were based at Rhodesia’s Grand Reef Air Base in Manicaland together with the many Alouette III to carry out various reconnaissance and ground attack missions. To be fair I can’t tell you much more. Information on the use of Alouette II within the Rhodesian Air Force is very hard to come by.

The insignia placement is an impression, as I only found two side view pictures to go by. However as many Alouette II carry an insignia on the bottom, that the placement of an insignia is dictated by the law of military warfare and because the Alouette III carried them as well I think this is correct. Beside all this I hope people will enjoy using this skin!
