This walk around gallery contains imagery of the Belgian Air Force Westland Seaking ‘RS05’. These photographs were taking during a spottersday in May 2016 at the Beauvechain/Bevekom airforce base.
While these unique markings celebrate the 25th anniversary of its Belgian service, the Seaking has actually been in the country’s service for 40 years (since 1976). Like all the other Belgian Seakings, RS05 was introduced during November 1976. Despite its age and its unique paint scheme RS05 remains in active service and regularly flies out on rescue missions around the country and the English Channel.
The gallery is divided into two parts. The first consists images of an exterior walkaround while the latter focusses on the interior.
